甲州葡萄在山形县鹤冈市种植已有250年的历史,鹤冈市串引地区是种植甲州葡萄最北部的极限的。这款干白葡萄酒采用100%山形县鹤冈市栽种的甲州葡萄酿造。Sur lie在法语中是“在酒渣之上”的意思,是与酒在陈酿时保留了酒渣超过五个月,不会被倒架或以其他方式过滤。这主要是在陈酿过程中,酒渣会分解,并释放出微量的糖与蛋白质,赋予葡萄酒相关的标志性香气与风味。此外,释放的蛋白质会与单宁聚合,可以帮助软化特定葡萄酒的口感,从而赋予葡萄酒重量、风味或复杂性,并借此提高葡萄酒的品质。与酒泥陈酿相关的味道与香气包含面包、谷物、坚果、奶油与酵母味,而且这些风味通常在口感上会显示出良好的质地,不会过于沉闷或厚重。此酒曾在日本葡萄酒挑战赛和日本葡萄酒大赛获得不少奖项。
